The eye behind the lens

I'm Daven, the photographer behind Capturedbydev.

Photography started as a way for me to hold onto moments that felt worth remembering. Over time, it became something more — a way to notice people, movement, expression, and the small details that can make an ordinary moment feel important.

What I enjoy most is creating photographs that still feel connected to the person in them. I want the image to feel considered without losing the personality that made me want to take it in the first place. So take a look around, and if you have a shoot or idea in mind, I'd love to hear about it.
